NYC Subway Car 983

The Craggy Mountain Line is very pleased to announce the acquisition of working trucks for our 1935 R-6-3 restoration project. The trucks were salvaged from a recently decommissioned R-32 subway car in New Jersey. Engine #7

In October 2012 we took delivery of former Alexander RR Co. Diesel Switcher No. 7. The switcher was built in November, 1950 by the American Locomotive Company (ALCO) of Schenectady, NY for the Pennsylvania RR where it became their number 8873. It operated on that road until retirement in 1979.

Jingle Bell Run 2012 Photo Gallery

In December 2012 the Craggy Mountain Line held our first Jingle Bell Run trolley train ride. It was well received and a lot of fun.
